Service opportunities
Here are a few events that you can get involved in over the next two weeks:SATURDAY (Nov 12) 1-5 p.m. at DC Central Kitchen (next to Georgetown Law): this is food prep for turkey dinners to be distributed to agencies serving hungry DC residents
MONDAY and TUESDAY (Nov 14-15) 10 a.m. near 3rd Street Church of God (New Jersey Ave, NW): Monday is setting up and Tuesday is a Thanksgiving luncheon for 600 homeless persons
We are also trying to coordinate something with the homeless walk-a-thon on saturday the 19th.
