wednesday update
wednesday continues to be a phenomenal time of growth and progress.we have such an amazing combination of deep theological debate to common logistical problems. nonetheless God has been working in all of our lives as we share a meal together and life's struggles.
despite the differences in our daily lives, it has been amazing to see the commonalities among all of us on a human level. we similar joy, pain, and every other kind of emotion... the way those things are manifested however, look different.
we have been very much trying to get people to see some of the brokenness in their lives. whether it is familial or personal, we have been trying to apply some simple biblical principles that will help people get to a spiritual level of peace. it's a lot about forgiveness and humbleness.
the best part about how this group has progressed however, is the true building of community. everyone there is really beginning to care for one another. this is an amazing foundation that is going to be intricate in their own personal lives, as well as their life of living out the faith and acting out God's will in the world.
it is more and more evident to me every week, why Jesus chose to hang out with these kinds of people in His day-
